Help Needed

Joining the Committee is easy.  As a volunteer, you will not be forced to do anything.  All I ask is you be honest and forthright in accepting assignments.  You can put in as much, or as little time as you want, but I expect all deadlines to be met.

A Fund Raising Manager shall recruit and establish a team who will perform such fundraising tasks as soliciting donations, cold calling for donations, identify possible donors, and any other acceptable form of fundraising.

Reporting directly to the Candidate, the Fundraising Manager shall set goals, and meet or exceed those goals within the time expected.  The Fundraising Manager shall report and tender pledges, additions, and donations on a monthly basis.

This Manager shall establish Regional and/or County Subcommittees by recruiting Campaign Workers.  County Managers may report to a Regional Manager, or directly to the Candidate for instructions and assignments.  Guidance will be given regarding Legal and Ethical Campaigning. 

The Manager shall also be responsible, at the expense of the Committee, to secure venues for Speeches and Fundraisers. 

The Poll Watching Manager shall be responsible for identifying and authorising Poll Watchers on Election Day.  Reporting directly with the Candidate, and working with the County Clerk, and the Judge Magistrate, this manager shall recruit and staff the Polls according to State Law for the purposes of Electioneering, Verifying the Counts, and Observing the Counts of the Polls.

Using sources of Public Information, (Phone Book, Electorial Rolls, etc.) will devolop and utilize telephone calling lists, scripts, and speech to solicit donations, answer questions, perform surveys, identify donors, and inform the Public about the Candidate. 

This job entails scheduling and facilitating the events needed to run an effective political campaign.

No experience is necessary, but is preferred.

Fund Raisers perform functions to Raise Funds.  This job requires identifying doners, soliciting donations, and tendering to the Candidate for Processing and Legal Examination.  Fund Raisers are expected to raise funds according to stated goals, report discrepencies, and perform the work in a timely fashion.  Fundraisers shall report to their Manager, and the Candidate, and shall recieve guidance from both.

Campaigners shall identify areas of interest, canvass neighborhoods, and work with the Campaign Managers and the Candidate to identify venues of speech and fundraisers.  Campaigners may be called upon to create materials to pass out which must be approved by the Candidate before use.  Campaigners shall also be responsible to explain the Candidate's Positions on the issues clearly and effectively.
